Move with left and right, jump with X, and hold Z to read signs. UP picks up objects, and DOWN digs (if you have a spade). Your quest is to find the buried treasure and pick it up.
(X and O are the Pico-8 buttons, which probably aren’t mapped to X or O on the keyboard.)
